Couple’s Therapy: We approach couples using Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) for Couples. Research has shown that Emotionally Focused Therapy has helped 70-75% of couples move from distress to recovery and approximately 90% show significant improvements. We have worked with couples experiencing infidelities, going emotional and physical disconnection, phase of life changes, and other various relationship issues. We also have therapists trained in Prepare/ENRICH to help you prepare for a successful marriage.
Individual Therapy: We utilize various Systemic approaches for Individuals when assisting men, women, and teens. Many of these models are dependent on your therapist as well as your current situation. We address anxiety, depression, high stress, fears, lack of energy, trouble parenting, feelings of low self-worth/confidence, low levels of motivation, high levels of frustration or anger, as well as feelings of inadequacy. This is a collaborative process where we strive to provide a safe and supportive environment in order for you to explore and experience personal growth.
Family Therapy: We address family issues from a Systemic perspective, exploring all aspects of your family’s life which may be fueling the family conflict or distress. Together we will address how the dynamics within the family affect each member and identify ways to re-establish a healthy and happy family life. We can offer new ways to address communication, parenting, and assist you in developing a deeper understanding of your family's needs.
Grief and Loss: We offer specialization for adults experiencing their parents aging. This can be a hard and very sensitive time for many. We understand the effect that grief and loss has on individuals and families and can offer support in this area.
Trauma Therapy: We are trained in and utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy when addressing past traumas. We work together to enhance coping skills, explore the benefits of mindfulness techniques, and reprocess negative core beliefs which may have developed due to negative experiences. Throughout this process your therapist provides support and guidance while you work towards your goals and regain your identity.
